a little self promo

As a mini project, I decided to start a new blog, but with a different user and a completely different persona.

Her name is Rose Verdriet but she isn’t exactly… alive. It’s a pretty grim topic but I found it kind of interesting and it’s been on my mind for a long time.

So basically “Rose” shares her thoughts and views on the world that is continuing without her, all while shutting down the truth… that it was her fault for her death and no one else’s. But it’s something that she can’t face just yet. Just like she can’t face the fact that sometimes life goes on whether or not you want it too. Or in this case, death.

Anyways, I chose the most cliché way to die: a car accident. But as simple as it is, it’ll work.

And in case you guys wanted to know, “verdriet” means grief in Dutch. A subtle detail that many won’t even notice, but it really does make a difference.

Because this is a different account, it will be a bit annoying to keep having to log out and switch between both. But I liked the idea of having it “completely new”, account and all.

It kind of sucks right now, but that’s okay. The hardest part though is seeing if I can actually commit to this.
