  1. dang it a lot of the books i read involve death
tfios was decent, divergent was cool but only the first book, the first hunger games book, and also the book “Red Scarf Girl” it’s about a chinese girl during the cultural revolution – sounds boring but it made me cry and is extremely cool

  2. It’s not exactly sad, but it deals with death and basically the mc’s life and her bad decisions? Falling Into Place – Amy Zhang (side note: I read the book over a year ago so I might not remember the plot very well, sorry in advance!)
Ooh oh: All the Bright Places – Jennifer Niven, Thirteen Reasons Why – Jay Asher (kinda same reasoning as Falling Into Place)
Also – The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. Not exactly YA but aahhh 😦
There’s more I’ve read but I can’t remember right now hm.

  3. Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys is a very emotional book, it takes place at the end of WW2, It follows 4 different perspectives, all with very different stories and backgrounds. I cried very much in this novel.

  4. Because you’ll never meet me by Leah Thomas and First Love by James Patterson both what you’re looking for, i promise you won’t regret reading it.
