Yesterday I was listening to MCR songs on repeat and actually started crying: partly because I was reflecting upon my bad life decisions, partly because I was sad that they weren’t going to get back together, partly because the lyrics were sad, but mainly just for no reason at all.
It wasn’t even just small tears. It was the big ugly cry, with sniffles, tissues, and strange guttural throat sounds.
It’s funny how the teenage brain works.
Well MCR is essentially the musical embodiment of teenage angst
